Delete your DopCasts account
In the app
Open DopCasts, go to Profile → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately. The app also clears listening data and downloaded episodes on that device.
Without the app
Email privacy@dopcasts.app with the subject "Delete my DopCasts account".
Send it from the email address you use to sign in to DopCasts. If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, tell us so, and we'll explain how to confirm the account is yours.
We'll confirm the account is yours, delete it, and reply to let you know. Requests are completed within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Shows you follow, interests, saved items and history
- Your questions and conversations
- Your settings and notification tokens
- Usage analytics linked to your account
All of it is deleted within 30 days of your request, and copies in backups expire within a further 30 days.
What stays
- Episode insights generated from public podcasts. They are shared by all listeners and aren't linked to you.
- Episodes downloaded on other devices, until you remove the app or the downloads there.
If you signed in with Apple, you can also remove DopCasts from your Apple account in Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple.
